The posted photo is of Darine my cousin. She makes me famous by posting my photos everyday on TV :)

So, I am officially on vacation :)
2 hours and I arrived to beirut.
It's 2:35 am and the only thing I can shoot is the moon and the rooftop antennas. We used to have a view to all the mountain side but new buildings came up recently and we cant see anything anymore :)
At least the moon is still visible.

I bought them 2 weeks ago and they attract so much attention.
I get comments about them from a lot of people. Why?
FYI: they cost 10 KD from Debenhams - Souk Sharq.

So it's official. I am a lousy underwater photographer. I can blame the camera but at the end of the day, I ignored everything I learned about light and took shots like a beginner. The result? well check the photos. The one posted today must have been the best out of the whole bunch, not to mention that I lost loads to over exposure.

My Sharm trip is over, I had to say goodbye to those lovely fish and water. I will miss those 4 days and will surely come back again. It was magical. Everything is available in sharm except snow. But with the help of the local Bango, I guess you can see it after a cigarette or two. The photo is an aerial view of what I must call our local heaven :) I took it from the plane on the way back.

Half an hour road trip to get the boat to Ras Mouhamad. First dive with "Rommel" our dive master, cold waterrrrrr brrrrrrrrr. It was not to my expectations. A lot of fish true but much less big ones to soothe my quench for sharks or big babes but at the end of the dive a Barracooda. Dive spot called the Jackfish Alley. Total time for dive 1 is 25 minutes and lowest depth is 22 meters. 3 hours break and lunch then we move to Ras Ghozlani. What a dive, What a dive. The coral is fresh and young, the fish are everywhere, the water is still cold brrrrrrrr. Stars of the dive are a Sea turtle, Napolean fish, glass fish, spotted manta ray, puffies and barracoooooooda's. Total time for dive 2 is 35 minutes and lowest depth is 16 meters. On the way back we get to see flying fish and loads of orange jelly fish.
Took 54 shots (2 rolls). Tomorrow night is developing time and I will post the underwater pleasures of Sharm El Sheikh. After the two dives; I can say "I've been Sharmed".

So day two in Sharm El Sheikh started. All I can say about it is "Sharming". Started with the morning dive on a shallow reef. All sorts of fish, the stars of the show are clown fish and "Sergent Majors". Seen a spotted sting ray, Lion fish, Tube fish and a lot of puffies and parrot fish.. It lasted till 2:30. After Lunch we went for water sports: Banana boat, Donunt and water ski.
I wanted to surf but I couldn't. The main reason was there were no waves and another less important reason; I've never surfed in my life

So today was my first day in my Sharm El Sheikh vacation. We arrived late afternoon and after checkin i ran to the beach. Cold water, shallow beautiful reefs, incredible lovely blue sea and loads of fish. That's underwater. On the sand Italians everywhere, after taking 50 or more shots, I decided to post this photo. I had more revealing shots but I don't want my blog to be closed in Kuwait. I hope tomorrow to get better shots as I am renting an underwater digital camera and will be officialy diving with sharks :)

The weather is bad and windy and cant take a decent shot, I had like 15 bad attempts today. All looked lousy. Watching CNN, I remembered this shot taken one year ago, It the building opposite to CNN Center and I took it form the Centennial Olympic Park. IT was a very humid and rainy day when suddenly at sunset, the rain stopped and the sky cleared. Leaving me with paintings in the sky.

I had ice cream half an hour earlier but that doesn't count when I see Häagen-Dazs Cafe. Strawberry Cheesecake, Rasberry in a waffle and surrounded by bananas and strawberries. This will make a major shift to where we spend our friday's, sorry Marina Mall.

I went with my colleagues today for a tour around Kuwait, as two of them came from Qatar and Bahrain. The main attractions were the Abraj, the Scientific Center, Marina Mall and dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. I took around 130 photos and found this one to be the most interesting as one of them looked like the logo for Star Academy. I hope they don't do season 3 as it's getting worse each season.

A tribute to this bridge, and I shall vote for him in the next Lebanese elections. If general Aoun can win, I think this bridge can become president.

In 2003 I was visiting Maine and we were driving around when a friend told me to stop and then we went out of the car and she told me, this is Stephen King's house. It was ammazing and I started taking shots. After 15 minutes, a delivery truck came and Mr. King came out to pick the UPS package but I was happy to see him rather than take a shot. At least I still have the house shots :)

I have a rented car with all kinds of scratches and stone chips and wind shield cracks. The car in the photo was my car in Dubai. I drove it for 2 years and kept it in an excellent condition. It was so pampered, the lady who bought it from me asked me if I ever drove it. I miss my old car :(
